We stand on the side that raises value

Four parts of one chain

The pageant creates a stage and draws people. We refine them into a resource a venture can run on. With specialists across industries, we bring companies together and add weight to the business. What we learn goes to the institute.

01 Pageant operations

One selection, four national finals

We run Best of Miss Tokyo and Mrs.SDGs Japan Tokyo: one joint selection that sends Tokyo's representatives to four national finals, two of which lead on to world contests.
Selection, Beauty Camp, the day itself, then a year of activity. The same structure every year.

02 Corporate joint ventures

Not publicity — the weight of the business

Strategy, finance, law, overseas expansion. We hold specialists in each and bring companies together, standing up ventures between several firms that none could carry alone.
The aim is neither exposure nor talking points. What matters is that a value-producing structure remains afterwards, and that each participant’s business carries more weight than before.

03 Talent development

Refined people become the resource a venture runs on

For a finalist, the end of the pageant is the starting line. We take on what comes next and refine them until they can carry real work inside a venture. Development turns directly into the resource the business runs on.
We are not limited to entrants. Finding raw material, refining it and sending it into the world is itself one of our businesses.
Corporate training, DX and AI programmes with e-learning, staffing and placement are where that leads. Because one company both develops and places people, the result is verified by where they end up working.

04 Matsuo Institute

Turning experience into a method others can use

A conviction does not reach society by being spoken. It becomes other people’s only when it takes a form they can pick up and use.
The Matsuo Institute writes down what the three businesses have taught us as procedures that can be repeated: how we select and develop, how we bring companies together, in what order we refine people and place them. What ran on individual judgement becomes a sequence with stated criteria.
What we finish leaves as teaching material, as blueprints for joint ventures, and as talks and writing.
